An attempt to extend the time in which companies thinking about data
center construction in Washington State had to apply for tax breaks has
failed after the state house didn’t bring the bill to a vote.
The legislation had previously passed the state senate by a margin of
41-1 and would have extended the time period until April 1, 2011.
